I think HGSS are the best games, but I don't like Gen 4 overall cuz I found Sinnoh boring.
Otherwise, I think Gen 3 in its total was pretty great.

Gen 6 could've been better if it had a better story, and the map wasn't so empty.

HG/SS > 5 > 3 > Platinum > 2 > 6 > 1 > D/P

Didn't play 7. I had to split 4's games because HG/SS are just that good and D/P suck that much.
