So my front 6 are now:
Douglas Costa, Insigne, Politano storyline
Allan, Dybala, and De Jong

and yes, this team feels sooo much better than any team I've used. Last year I had Sane, Auba, and Bale up front, Kroos, and James in the middle. I've played 2 games and its been alot of fun.

Yep sounds good. The 3* wf of Costa and Dybala may be annoying for you but other than that it's a solid team.

Personally I'm not a skiller at all. I use L1 dribbling for drag backs and the occasional fake shot, but that's all. They can be really good if used effectively. Most of the pros only really use ball rolls and fake shots. I don't find ball rolls to really do anything though. Fake shots are good for change of direction though most of the time I do them by accident lol.

I'm willing to grind. i'm doing the 11 UCL squad right now which gets me essentially 2 swaps, one also for the 4 wins with 11 first owned players. After that I'll have 5 icon swaps. I honestly never really did themlast month, I passively got 3.

I'm thining roberto carlos cuz he fits perfectly but should i just keep grinding for a guy like pirlo, keane, crespo, etc.

im doing the UCL objective and holy fuck this is annoying. I had 11 UCL players already, some are out of position but theres like no chemistry between any of em. my team is absolute trash. i get beat by shit opponents who have 88+ rated squads lol

Rio & Zanetti are the most meta end game ones. Keane will be good for months at 15 as well.

Everything else is pretty garbage. Crespo's okay but will be replaced quickly.

Well Ill see what the grind is like. I have a shit ton of 1st owned players that make up some decent teams. If its too much of a grind, I'll stop at roberto carlos. If its not bad, I may just keep going. The max I can get is 15 if I grind through all of em. So Keane is the best player I can get and he really doesn't fit anything I wanna do. Plus its so much work. I have 5 now, so I'll just have to grind through 6 of these instead of 10.

Legendary SB is doable if you just play the shitty team each time you refresh...theres always teams with 60 something rating and 30 something chemistry that are straight trash. Like they'll hvae 1 on 1's against my goalkeeper and still mess it up. And yes I'm talking bout legendary.

Im thinking Crespo, rivaldo, or Carlos. I'm hearing even tho rivaldo has 2 wf he just makes everything with his strong foot. Also Crespo would be an upgrade at striker compared to Insigne I guess and with an Italian like politano, it's really hard to fit anyone else. I could also fit pirlo in there I guess.

Started with my worst team which was bundesliga, took me 2 hours to complete that objective.

I'm at 6 Futswaps. 9 more to go for Keane.
Hopefully wed, thur, fri I can get 1 each. Then sat I can get 3, sunday I can get 3.

But I suspect the squad battle ones will take me longer. Theres 1-2 shitty teams each refresh and 9 refreshes. So ~15 shitty teams. So getting these wins on legendary and world class might take a while.

I haven't started yet. My wife is away Fri-Sun so I'm gonna try and pump out my 30 games of WL on Saturday/early Sunday and then grind objectives til she comes home, haha.

I thought about it but I dont think I'm good enouhgh yet and my team definitely isnt good enough.

I honestly stopped playing fifa regularly in like March so I forgot all my skill moves, now I'm playing sloppy and rushed and I suck. I need to get back to my style.

Massive part of this game is slowing down while going forward and picking passes. Also finish near post in the box.

I've had to adjust cause I play a chaotic ping pong style generally, but it just doesn't work in FIFA 20. You have to really slow down around the box, L1 dribble and pick passes.

Thats actually been my style for several years now - which is why I always used bayern munich when I played. But what happens is, playing like that opens up the defense and allows me to dominate so much that I get greedy and over the span of several games get impatient and then start playing shitty. I have to consciously play patiently. I rarely counter aggressively, I always slow it down unless one of my wingers gets a really good run going.

I just started watching the pros play, specifically I like watching Ovvy, I noticed he just does a bunch of skill moves to disguise his direction. Thats what this game is all about, is being unpredictable with your direction cuz if you commit to the wrong direction the attacker is gone. I personally manual all my defenders including CBs and fullbacks, but I guess everyone nowadays is letting the AI control the CBs?

I need to practice my skill moves tbh. I started doing them with fifa 19 and I got pretty decent at it eventually, but its been a while, my skill moves instincts pretty much faded except for simply spin moves which still work depending on the player.

Ovvy is meh now. Watch guys like MSDossary, Kurt0411, RunTheFUTMarket.

Just watched some of his videos, I like em.

I notices he ball-rolls before every shot. He could be 1 on 1 with the keeper with a relatively easy power shot to the corner, but he still ball rolls and goes opposite direction. Ovvy does more of a mix of skill moves. Ill check the other guys out later.

I never understood rage quitting. I dont mind cuz it gets me a quick win but it just fucks up their coin modifiers doesn't it?

I guess I'm lucky I dropped to division 9 doing the UCL fut swap, so now I'm having an easy time scraping noobs for fut swaps. I completed the ligue 1 one in 1.5 hours, took my 5 games to get to 4 wins. Got started on the brazil one and lost a few games which is good, the last thing I wanna do is advance and have to grind forever.

Can't wait til I actually get Keane. By the time I get him, my bankroll will probably be about 100k, allowing me to by Lenglet along with some fullbacks.

Also, I finally figured out free kicks, now that I'm consistently only using 1 player to attempt them (douglas costa). And tbh, its much easier than it has been in previous games. I can consistently make them now when its just outside of the box. In previous games you never had the target marker and it was harder to make it directional. I was a master at free kicks in 16 and 17. 18 and 19 were harder IMO, I never quite mastered it. But I can see myself getting good in 20. With ibra I've made a couple long fk's.

Dembele 5/5 tho. That 5* weak foot is worth like 300k on a forward.

Finally back from my warning.

I'm 3 SB wins away from getting Keane after having done every single fut swap this season. I grinded like no other for the last 2 days. After this I'm fucking done grinding for a while. The rivals grind was kinda fun. The SB grind is just tedious and annoying. Grinding for politano was a walk in the park compared to this icon swap grind.

Get a good FK taker, aim top corner, load power bar 2.5-3.5 bars, and curl it whatever direction is best for ur kicker. I use a lefty no matter what since I have only 1 good FK taker on my team, so I always curl it to the right. For longer kicks, instead of curling it, try putting top-spin on it with 3.5 bars. Just know that for longer kicks the target may have to be outside of the goal, in anticipation that it curls down or in. I've made some long ones with Ibra.

Every year I watch Ovvy videos to learn how to free kick and how to best use skill movies. I know hes a retired pro, but I just enjoy his videos.

I'll never be able to afford that, lol. Lately I've been watching alot of RuntheFUTMarket videos and following FUT Chief on twitter. I think I've finally starting to learn how people invest. But its gonna take practice to really learn. Like I'm figuring out what drives value and stuff and how the market fluctuates over the week. That team you built me that I modified with Allan, De jong, and Dybala....I sold all of those players for a few grand profit each the other day lol. I also bought Kane today for 24k, so I'll see how much he can get me next week when he's inevitably TOTW.

Any upgrades you'd recommend? What do you think about if gomez? After that team is built, my budget would be 100-200k. If I had 100k to spend, I'd rather buy a 100k coin player and use a 0 coin packed player than buy 2 50k players. Because eventually I'll build up enough to upgrade that 0 coin player.

When I was looking at Lenglet last week he was 100k, right now he's going for 60k. Good thing I didnt buy him then.

His price is tanking by the hour. Every time I check it goes down another 500 coins.

I'll probably buy him tonight when people off-load their WL teams and open SB packs. I just bought Allan again for 22.75k with anchor. I feel like even if he goes down, at most I lose a few grand. But if I don't buy Lenglet at an optimal price, I miss out on many thousands of coins.

I really wish I bought that RTTF Allan last week when it was like 260, now its 360 and it will keep going up. I would still buy it now if I could but I can't afford it.
