None. They just look cool. You get them from FUT Champions rewards. They're just red coloured versions of that week's TOTW.

I usually get 14 wins in FUT Champions (I just stop there even if I have games left over), which is Gold 3. With Gold 3, you get two Player Picks of red coloured versions of that week's TOTW.

Well I won them all in a 1 hour timespan. I dont usually wait much longer than that. If it was gonna be a multi-day grind in between then I'd just open it right way

Last year my friend saved over 100 packs for TOTS and he packed 2 TOTS, both Saudi league. Whereas I did the Firmino Flashback SBC, and packed TOTS Sterling.

So yeah, don't bother saving packs. It's never worthwhile.

One thing I dont understand is, whats the purpose of people investing in players that they anticipate will be TOTW players? Like what good does it do to, lets say, grab a basic gnabry card if I think he'll be TOTW this week?

Alright I'm gonna unload some players and start making my team. If everyone sells I'll have around 130k total. Which is enough for lenglet. Hopefully by next week that'll be around 200k and I think at that time I'll buy my players.... Or should I just wait another week for the black Friday crash when these mid level players will get cheaper

Do crashes even happen anymore with the introduction of SBC's?

Turns out I'm at 130k and Lewy hasn't sold yet, so that should be 160k by the end of today.

So by the end of next week I should have enough to build that full team.

no i havent even built 1 proper team yet. just using a few special cards(pique scream, politano storyline, and vardy POTM) and mostly scraps. I'm around 190k right now, so Ill prolly start buying up some talent soon. Was just gonna wait for tomorrows SB cards then Ill start buying

Although what I do for SB is I just play the 2 easy teams then refresh. I think you get 9 refreshes or something. I end up playing about 10 games per week + the 2 TOTWs. Each will get me about 1500 points per game. That ends up being about 20-25k points which is good enough for elite 3. Its relatively easy to get since its pretty easy to smash these shitty teams. I played one on Ultimate..it was a 60 something rated squad with chemistry of 30. It was a joke, sometimes they could get 1 on 1 with the keeper and they'd botch the shot.

Right now I'm gold 1 and just need to play like 3 more games to get elite 3. But I work all day tomorrow. I need to come home early.

I don't even play squad battles anymore haha
