Yes the truly ethical thing to do would be to stop supporting capitalism entirely but if people cant even boycott one food chain that doesnt even hide what they do than thats definitely unrealistic. We always knew that corporations were evil but we live in the nightmare where they dont even feel the need to hide it anymore. And no one cares.

There are people who care, and they engage in political organizing, not telling people to fight with their dollars, a bougie and ineffective form of activism that reinforces the dangerous myth of the free market being the way to solve global issues.

It's baffling to me too. To be fair, I think their other foods - I.E. fries, milkshakes, soup - are actually really good. But the chicken itself is totally outclassed by the other big chicken chains. (Including Raising Cane's, regardless of the weirdly vehement hate they receive)

The anti-LGBT stuff keeps me away these days, but even before the controversies broke out, I would only go on rare occasion for a milkshake or whatever.

I didn't care for Raising Cane's sauce, and that's the one thing that's supposed to distinguish them. I loved their Texas toast, though.

Chick and Jerry's makes chicken ice cream. I eat those too.

And yeah CFA's sandwich is great and the price is right, but the real star of the menu is the frozen lemonade. It has the best texture and flavor balance of any fast food drink and for the calories and price it is absolutely magical.

I actually like Sirfetch'd a lot. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for most of the Galar Pokemon, nor most of what we've seen of Pokemon Sword/Shield itself.

I remember a time when I'd never heard of CFA, and I'm certain their stance never helped them. But, they're expanding to places where no one even knows or cares. Of course they are making more, they have more stores in more places where they as a company don't even participate in politics. Other than stirring up muck, why mention this?

Don't have one locally, I think the closest is like 45 minutes away and opened recently. I've eaten there a few times when I'm traveling and it's... fine. I mean, I guess its good. But its expensive and it isn't amazing. I don't get the big deal.

My understanding is once their donations to anti-gay things became a big deal a few years back they stopped donating to those causes. So I don't really see a good reason to boycott it or whatever anymore.

To everyone else its simple; if you prefer moderately good chicken to doing whats right thats on you. Chick fila was one of the only fast food places I could eat without getting sick. I love how it wasnt too greasy. But it makes me more sick knowing exactly where my money is going and the CEO isnt shy about it either. If you care about your taste buds more than that youre just selfish and kind of a jerk, and if youre LGBT or call yourself an ally and eat there you dont have much in the way of convictions or integrity. You can get fried chicken anywhere. Youre just selfish.

I'll gladly admit that I have no convictions or integrity. Life is too short and the endless oblivion of death is too long for me to spend my time caring about where my food comes from. I'll do whatever brings me carnal pleasure and then die and become worm food, and that'll be the end of that.
