Inspired by a comment on another site. It seems that America is mostly in the first camp (hates sex), while Europe is in the second (hates violence).

"Both" is not a choice, since I'd imagine that most parents would try to avoid both if they could help it.

Which one is a more explicit scene. Also depends how old the kids are, like what do I care if my kids are 30 and watching questionable media?

Like most movie sex scenes are fine, but it needs to be at least somewhat tasteful (we've all seen a movie where the sex is literally just in there because it can be, or trying to actively push some boundary or something).

But the same can be said about violence. Like playing CoD is fine or action movie PG 13 violence where none of the violence actually is shown is probably fine, but more nasty or gross stuff (torture porn) is probably a little much.

Young enough where they don't fully understand what they're seeing and the ramifications of it.
