Vampires are repelled by garlic, sure, but crosses are more effective and lack the pungent odor of garlic. If someone is being targeted by a vampire, wouldn't it make more sense to fill the room with crucifixes as opposed to stuffing it full of garlic?

You don't even need actual crosses. Just a cross shape works perfectly fine.

Because I'm a total garlic-fiend and a room filled with garlic might almost finally be sufficient to count as "enough garlic".
