I still feel tired and I'm drinking an energy drink. Maybe I need alcohol.

Naps that go for time periods outside a typical REM cycle (1.5 hours) are generally going to leave you waking up more tired than pre-nap. I don't nap often but when I do I usually end up with a headache because I have no real circadian rhythm for naps.
Not much you can do about it other than go to bed early. --- My knee hurts ... Copied to Clipboard!

No, it won't. You are kicking alcohol so that's not an option
Keep naps to 30 to 45 minutes, like mentioned above, a 2-3 hour nap is completely ineffective and will just make you feel more tired. --- Ten million dollars on a losing campaign, Twenty million starving and writhing in pain. i rested my eyes for an hour while listening to the outer limits. felt better enough to head out for my run outside.
though an actual nap for at least 2-3 hours sets things right to remove the "tired" feeling at least for me. i try not to do them often, sometimes i don't get enough sleep at night (going to bed earlier does help). --- The act of treachery is an art, but the traitor himself is a piece of **** - Mike Tyson ...
