Current Events > Wind Waker or Twilight Princess?

These two seem to be completely divided and polarizing within the Zelda community, with half favoring either one or the other. They are total opposites and I've noticed people usually like one and dislike the other. It's really comparing apples to oranges.

I personally prefer Wind Waker. It's not only my favorite Zelda, but my favorite video game of all time. It's also the first Zelda I ever fully completed. Twilight Princess is great, don't get me wrong, but it just doesn't feel as grand or epic or mesmerizing/immersing as TWW.

I'm convinced people that think the sailing wasnt boring only play Nintendo games

Not that TP was much better mind you, I just prefer looking at barren fields to endless ocean.

Twilight Princess has better combat, dungeons, and exploration, imo. But Wind Waker has the better plot.

Gotta go with TP though, as that's the one I replayed most.

I like them both. But Wind Waker is my favorite. It has the pest presentation out of any Zelda game by a wide margin.

Best music with no close second, best story, some of the best characters, best Ganon, best Link by far, and up until BotW it had the most lively enemies with real personality. And if you've played OoT, the experience of Wind Waker is 1000x better, it's the only time a Zelda sequel has followed up the story and had so many direct references to a previous one. On top of all that, you've got a beautiful world. It's so inspiring.

Wind Waker, and it's not even close.

Though it had its flaws (some of which were ironed out in the HD version), Wind Waker was a very charming game with tons of exploration to be had. Twilight Princess was very dull in comparison.
