No, I don't remember "The Stadium".

Actually, I dunno if it was just a local place, I was a kid. It was a place that specialized in trading and selling cards of all kinds.

Nah, it's one of the reasons I moved to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, to be honest.

I know how to play competitive but I don't find it particularly fun

That said, I do make sure all the pokemon I actually train are at least the right nature

I understand what's required but like DarkRoast said I've dabbled in it and its just not fun at all. It sucks the enjoyment out of the game.

I'll stick to competitive Rocket league as well as going for the Western records for old arcade shmup games.

For what it's worth, I do like stuff like the Battle Tree / Battle Subway where you basically do need "competitive" Pokemon.

I tried it once in like middle school I think, copy pasted sets from Smogon. Nowadays Ill sometimes do randoms but Im not particularly good, still dont know all of Fairys strengths and weaknesses.

Strengths: Strong against everything you use
Weaknesses: Weak against nothing you use

I played it online a fair bit back in gen 3-4 days. when everyone was on netbattle and then netbattle.... supremacy (? forget what the 4th gen version was called). there was also shoddybattle. showdown didn't exist yet

gen 5 sucked though so I basically quit it then. sometimes I'll go play randbats a little because I don't feel like learning how to make teams anymore

The last time I played it seriously was gen 5, and even then, only on Pokemon Showdown (or whatever the simulator was at the time, might have been an earlier one) and not in-game. I tried it a little bit in gen 6, but lost interest.
