Finally got a chance to play this one and it's the cat's pajamas.

It's like Clue, if Clue took place on the high seas and had 50 times the body count and you had to piece together everything that happened and identify everyone involved. Music is awesome, voice acting is solid... just loving everything about this game.

I was expecting a falling pieces game like Tetris or maybe a match-3 game, but your description and the few non-cutscene parts of the video make it seem like a text adventure or first-person point-and-click adventure or something.
