I watched it around 11am and then like 3 hours later I got a push notification from YouTube suggesting I watch it.

Only thing I would say is maybe come up with an outro?

I don't think it's explicitly necessary, but couldn't hurt imo.

Only other thing is maybe Doom should sound distinctly different than the narrator (even if it's still obviously the same voice actor)

i.e. "Must I do everything?"

And maybe a set release schedule? I dunno if you are planning on one or two a week, but setting a schedule and staying consistent is pretty important for YouTube.

Yeah but I don't see a lot of likes or comments here or on youtube. These actually take quite a bit of time to do, and we love doing them, but my home community has to support the endeavor so the channel can grow naturally! There's 200 of these to get through.

Chris you are making something great here. Try not to get discouraged. I see this as something that won't gain a ton of traction until there's one random episode that has one random moment that's just next level great and that will spread and then all the people who like that moment will have the experience of realizing "wait, there's X-1 other episodes of this??" and then it will take off from there.

Just keep doing exactly what you're doing. The source material is great and popular so this will be as well.

Like what if you only published four chapters of the original fanfic and then it had 2 million views. That would be awfully surprising!

Chris, things are fine. I posted what I posted - and liked the videos and subscribed - for a reason. You can't expect success on a platform like YouTube overnight. You have to keep at it, and once you get "discovered" then you will go viral. The clicks and ad revenue will come. You just need patience. Keep at it - you're doing good!
