I don't even like MCU films myself - but this is like the kid with the bowl cut and the Rolling Stones shirt bought from K-Mart talking about how rap or pop music isn't "real music." It comes off as cringy. So what if the MCU movies aren't high art? It's kind of a lazy, low-blow to even mention them - especially considering film isn't even in a bad place otherwise right now.
