They are just being old snobs. Like we are always supposed to 'learn' something from movies? Yeah cause we really learned a lot from The Godfather. And frankly if someone is getting inspiration from mobster movies then they should probably no longer be made. Coppola is just old and being cranky because the younger generations don't care about his movies. That's literally all this is.
