Funny you mention it, just started playing again a couple nights ago. Have a two handed orc build that I've somehow faithfully kept to what I planned instead of turning it into a stealth archer like I always do.

What surprised me is that it looks like they're doing themed events now. Seems they have some Halloween theme thing going. Saw a message at the start of the game but I'm not sure what it means exactly or how to access it, but I don't recall anything like that when I played it last time.

I think there are equal issues in both consoles. If you look at the UESP bugs section for each quest it lists bugs for each platform if any exist.

The one that bothered me the most is the necklace you can get in Solitude. You have to do the quest the first time you enter it or it glitches and you cant acquire it. Its not really special, and its a miscellaneous quest; Im just a completionist.

I enjoyed Skyrim VR for a bit, playing about 2 hours or so, but I didnt really like the whole teleport to move aspect. When I finally found the option to turn it off I played for another 5 minutes or so thinking the game was brilliant before proceeding to vomit profusely and putting the game away never to play it again...

I must be lucky as I didn't get motion sickness. I did however try other VR games out before Skyrim.

Did you turn it off of teleport movement?

game is 8 years old. If you don't have a PC that can run it...YIKES! Not to mention the mods on PC make it well worth it vs playing on consoles.

I just finished replaying Skyrim again on my 360. Game crashed so many times I was almost ready to stab someone.

Personally, I'd recommend playing it on the PS4 instead if that's an option for you.

Plenty of people don't own PCs at all, and only use the Internet via phone/tablet/console.

Even for people who do own a PC, it's always possible that it's old or if they don't use it for anything high-end (especially if they're not PC gamers at all).

Personally, I'm on a laptop right now, I do all of my gaming and most of my Internet video viewing via console, and my PC is 15+ years old. I couldn't play Skyrim on PC even if I wanted to (and I never want to).

I heard that it was buggy as shit, and inferior to both the Enhanced Edition and PC versions in pretty much every major way.

Granted, it's a Bethesda game so it's buggy as shit regardless of where you play it, but my understanding was that the Switch version was significantly worse than some of the alternatives. With the only real advantage being portability (if that matters to you) and motion controls (if you're a terrible person).

it didn't seem any buggier than the other versions, tbh. but portable skyrim was just too tempting to pass up, especially since i got it at a time where i was away from the house a lot. i put in a good 60-70 hours, and then stopped. i had been playing skyrim for years before i got the switch version and finally hit my wall, ok?
