It's looking like the Conservatives may have actually won the popular vote. This is like a reverse Donald Trump situation. Well, Trudeau is Left Trump, right down the corruption, so it works pretty well. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Lol in Vancouver maybe. I lived in Calgary during the Harper years and I can confirm that gas, indeed, cleared $1.30 a litre at that time. --- Kill 1 man: You are a murderer. Kill 10 men: You are a monster. Kill 100 men: You are a hero. Kill 10,000 men, you are a conqueror! ... Copied to Clipboard!

I need to share this here because I can guarantee it wasnt the only example of it this year. I feel like... 25,000-something other examples of it occurred. Deceased, non-citizen who had never received a voter card before this year receives a voter card.

I'm actually legitimately curious as to what confluence of factors would make you vote for your least-wanted party, because I can't even imagine a hypothetical scenario where that would be the right move to make. It's not that weird. If the goal is to defang the Liberals a little, that means voting for someone electable that's not Liberal. That's Conservative where I live. I'm in a fairly Liberal area on the east, and while we've flipped Conservative within this century, we have far less Green and NDP presence, at least on paper. The latter two would otherwise get my vote easily (as per my rankings). My province has one of the few regions that did win a Green seat, and I suspect there's far more people in my region, if not my riding directly, with rankings similar to mine voting conservative too. I would under other conditions, conditions that do not presently exist, consider voting Liberal better than Conservative, but only after exhausting all other conceivable alternatives. The problem is when other options don't exist, then voting Conservative starts to look appealing. --- This album is not available to the public. Even if it were, you wouldn't wanna listen to it! ... Trudeau is border line handicapped so what ever he does or thinks I believe the opposite is the right thing. So I'm going to accept that. Trudeau breathes. A number which you're basing on... absolutely nothing? zebatov posted... Deceased, non-citizen who had never received a voter card before this year receives a voter card. Which, while it shouldn't happen, isn't likely to cause too much of an issue because you have to show ID that matches your voter card. It creates opportunities for people to use fake ID's to generate an extra vote or two, but in practice, that's a whole lot of effort for very little impact. Whatever issue caused voter cards to be sent to deceased people should absolutely be fixed, but I wouldn't worry too much about it making a difference. --- This is my signature.
