what about the last?

the first game I ever beat on my own was probably Mortal Kombat 1 on the GameBoy. I think Super Mario Land might have been next...

most recently was Borderlands 3.

First? I vividly remember being absolutely astonished by the animated ending of Super Mario Bros 2, not to mention I completed a game! I was just a unskilled kid with whose games bar a handful were of the endless score hunts akin to Atari 2600 games, so reaching an ending and not a game over screen was a huge accomplishment to me.

Latest? Believe it or not, Grand Theft Auto: London 1969, this last summer.

Most recently was the latest Mortal Kombat

I finished Ocarina of Time on N64 and I still have my last save from like 2000.

Haven't checked to see if it has been erased for whatever reason since then because I emulate it now.

Probably Donkey Kong Country 2.

it MIGHT have been Super Mario World but I feel like my sister probably jumped on and did some levels at some point and I've just forgotten.

I know the first game I saw the ending too was Super Metroid, but that was because I rented it and someones save was at Tourian with literally everything so I just had to go to Mother Brain and kill her.

Nah, what they should have done was just take Wily Tower and expand it into a full game. The remakes were bad.

The physics were wrong and it didn't even do anything interesting. Enemies, enemy placement and level design were all more or less identical to the original games. Even the music was worse. It was just a graphics update.

But I rather enjoyed Wily Tower. The bosses were super creative, the levels were fun and I loved the rematch with Buster Rod.G, though it could have used a rematch with the other two. Choosing your own set of weapons was a neat idea, too. Wily Machine was kinda bad though.
