Well that's one down in the books. Gonna start Chris tonight and should be faster there.

Man good ass game. This might even be the best Resident Evil so far. It's pretty damn tight, beautiful and I still love working my way through the mansion. The stuff they added like Lisa was a welcome addition. Padded the game out a bit without making it feel like filler or anything.

Great game. Great game.

as far as actual remakes of games go its probably the best one made so far though Remake 2 is also high up there. and is the best personification of what the series is.

Alright flying through Chris' campaign. I remembered the 2 less inventory slots, but totally forgot the different key gimmick. I like the differences, but it really is pretty tedious.

Already saved what's his face with the serum and Rebecca. Why on Earth does she not have her Rambo/Liu Kang headband?

I am now a master at dodging past these undead dickheads. No Crimson Heads for me.

Why's Wesker leaving me ammo and fixing doors and shit? He doesn't need Chris or anyone alive at any point to test anything.

So I wasted a bunch of time looking for Rebecca to mix the V Jolt and ended up just killing the god damn plant myself. Then Rebecca showed up in the room and healed me, but still. No clue what I did wrong there. Wasted a good bit of ammo, but I got bullets to spare.

Now I'm finishing up in the sewers. I might actually be able to beat this in one long ass sitting if I stay up tonight.

This Chris ain't even that buff. Getting his ass kicked in Antarctica by Wesker must have motivated him. Glad they didn't retcon anything that way. Everyone still looks like themselves minus bandannas.

Back to the mansion and then Lisa. I can probably run through the lab in no time since I just did it.

You have to let Richard die to get Rebecca's help.

The shotgun you get for saving him is probably worth more than skipping the boss.

Yeah I'd say so. That shotgun's my go to. I didn't even bother equipping the handgun until the lab just to clear out a few standard zombies. Was it that way in the original though? Save Richard=/=No Rebecca help?

Okay, that's how I recall Wesker dying in the original. Must just be Chris' version where he eats it super hard.

Annnnd done. Saved Jill. Saved Rebecca. Saved the day.

Damn. Shocked at how quick I went through that. Good though. Now I get to play Resident Evil ZERO!

Thanks to pegasus again, spike, Zack and anyone else who offered any help or tips. Thanks to everyone who contributed their input. With this being a remake, there wasn't quite as much for me to go in on as most of my playthroughs, but I hope you enjoyed it. I'll be playing Zero pretty soon, so keep an eye out for that topic and then it's the big RE4 one sometime in the near future. Right now, my plan is to go through the entire series by next year, maybe playing VII (in PSVR most likely) and 2's Remake for my next October marathon.

Yeah that helped with stuff like remembering the diamonds go in the statue's eyes, using the crank to fill the water up after fixing the elevator, using a different crank in the caves. Jill still took a while to do, but once I started playing as Chris I just breezed through it all.

Yeah I think it's probably my favorite one so far. There is that one slog I'm not big on, but RE2 (original) had that stuff too, so kind of cancels out.

Right now I'd probably saying

REmake > RE2 > RE > CV > RE3
