After doing the DXA scan again last week, I increased my macros because I've gained 8 pounds of muscle mass in the past 11 weeks since I did the first DXA scan.

4/1/2018: 445 pounds
10/16/2019: 234 pounds

According to the DXA scan on saturday:

10/12/2019
- 17.6% body fat
- 193.5 pounds lean tissue

7/27/2019:
- 24.3% body fat
- 185.5 pounds lean tissue

I had been stuck between 238 and 245 pounds for a couple months, but I've broken past that plateau, finally. I've got about 14 pounds to go to get to my goal weight of 220 lbs and I'll have to see what I want to do from there... Can't believe I'm so close

No, Longhorn Network does a broadcast from a Yeti Coolers store in downtown Austin every year. They let people take pictures and meet hosts after the show is over. It's happening again on the 26th... I wanna go again and take another picture. I didn't take a similar picture last year because I hadn't lost much weight at that point.

Before, people would call me stuff like "big man," "big guy," "big dog," "Big insertmyfirstname" etc., but that has stopped at this point. They didn't mean anything by it, I don't think, but... Just something I noticed. That has stopped.

There's a girl who is hitting on me at work. I'm the network guy, but any problem she has that should go through the helpdesk guys, she just asks me... And I oblige... There's more than just that, but... Might ask her out at some point, but I'm so shy.

People at work who have seen me going through all this are super amazed. Lots of people at work stop me to ask me what I'm doing. A couple guys are planning to start at the crossfit gym I go to in the next few months.

Also... I hope I'm not jinxing myself or anything, but I switched from drinking fruit juice to eating real fruit every day about 6 months back... I'm finding that I get sick a lot less now.

My typical breakfast will include an apple, an orange, some pineapple chunks, and some watermelon chunks. There have been multiple bouts of people who sit near me coming to the office sick, coughing, sneezing, etc. and I'm just sitting here dodging germs like

Yeah, definitely... Before, I couldn't walk for more than 20 - 30 seconds without my lower back hurting. Stairs were hell... I baaarely fit in seats in people's cars, movie theaters, airplanes, etc.

- The iPic theater in downtown Austin is my favorite theater. You get a big orange reclining chair. I used to be so big that I had to squeeze into even that... And then my hips would push on the little button that controls the reclining function, so my seat would be moving randomly throughout the movie.

- When I flew, I would always upgrade to first class for the slightly larger seat. Even with that, I had to ask for the seatbelt extender to be able to fasten the seatbelt every time. Also, the food tray that folds out could only fold out to an angle because my thighs were so big. Now I don't need a seatbelt extender at all and I fit into the seat really easily. I tested this when I went to Atlanta to visit family back in April or May of this year. Also, I easily fit into movie theater seats now.

yeah thats good quality of life changes that make day to day living just a bit easier.
