But to be also fair on Bush, anti-gay marriage stances was still fairly popular to his base, he was just pandering. Obama and Hillary Clinton were also anti-gay marriage but suddenly in the 2008 race they were pro gay marriage.

But to be also fair on Bush, anti-gay marriage stances was still fairly popular to his base, he was just pandering. Obama and Hillary Clinton were also anti-gay marriage but suddenly in the 2008 race they were pro gay marriage.

Just like Ellen could have stormed out of the owners box after being invited to attend the match and then seeing Bush there, but again don't think it's really that big a deal.

I think there are stories worth more energy than a comedian and daytime TV show watching a football game in proximity to a previous president.

People have all kinds of "terrible views" whether voiced or not. Why go full monty when Ellen's opinion of George doesn't effect you in any way, or disqualify your opinion on George yourself. It just seems people react to everything no matter it's weight on their lives or not. And that's because this country is so polarized it sides every single opinion with their political standing.
