Sore throat. When it's bad it's the only thing that actually hurts to the point of being distracting. The rest of the stuff is just inconveniences (Fevers from colds being mild, in this case).

Definitely a runny nose. A bad sore throat is horrible, but it just hurts, doesn't really stop you from doing things. If your nose is super runny you just flat out can't do shit without needing to be ready to stop snot from dribbling down your face at any given moment

Sore throat. I can at least ignore all of the other symptoms to an extent, but the simple act of swallowing brings full reminder to the fact that I have a sore throat.

sore throat is easy to treat. Hot tea + honey.

Stuffy nose for me. I hate being unable to breathe and the only way I can get relief is if I buy those nostril sprays. And...they never last long. My nose is too dry to try and get it all out.

I hate getting a sore throat.

The moment I feel even the slightest hint of a sore throat is when I know I'm about to be sick. But if I have black tea, lemons and honey, then it's not too bad.

I got the worst colds in high school and college...I ran cross country and track, and the fatigue would fuck me up for a good 2 weeks. Often times I never fully bounced back for the season.

I realize now that my eating and sleeping terribly must have contributed to that.

From small issue to biggest

Drowsiness > Chills > Ruuny Nose > Sore throat > Coughing

The first two is is counter by good long warm sleep and helps the cold leave faster anyway

Runny nose is annoying, but doesn't hurt at least.

Sore throat and Coughing hurts, wakes you up, makes it harder to communicate, makes you feel disgusting, and persists the longest

Stuffy/Runny nose. Coughing is only bad when you start damaging your muscles, while not being able to breath and having snot everywhere is absolutely horrible.

i had that fatigue month's ago. a nasty occurance of "walking pneumonia" it could've been that or a nasty cold.

i was coughing phlegm out of my lungs constantly and the cough lingered for nearly a month.
couldn't get out and about because i was so tired for 5 days.

Agreed. I hate having to blow my nose 100 times a day. Sore throat isn't nearly as annoying as that. Plus, nasal congestion often gets bad enough for me that I have trouble sleeping.

Runny nose tends to go down the back of my throat and fill my lungs with fluid. Which in turn leads to a ton of coughing, and the cold worsening and lasting forever.

So, definitely runny nose.

They all lead to one another, but having something similar to the 100 day cough twice in my life made it hell. Start with the runny nose, that leads to it trickling down your throat in your sleep, making phlegm, which then leads to tickling and uncontrollable coughing to the point of a sore throat.

Trying to sleep in anyway not straight up right lead to weeks of uncomfortable sleep..

I picked stuffed up runny nose. Like others have said, when bad it's a constant thing and fucks up sleeping. Of course it's much worse when you have all the those symptoms at once. Uncontrollable coughing with sore body is a fucked up painful combo. Any of you get uncontrollable coughing when peeing? Suddenly cuts off the stream, THAT fucking hurts.
