There aren't any Harvest Moon games on Switch yet. It's important to paint a distinction here: current Harvest Moon games are Harvest Moon in name only. The games are developed by Marvelous in Japan, but were published in North America by Natsume under the name Harvest Moon. Due to publisher changes, the series now goes by Story of Seasons. Natsume owns the name Harvest Moon, and they still produce titles under it. Know that they are vastly inferior products.

Anyways, there are a couple of Story of Season games on 3DS: Story of Seasons, and Trio of Towns. The friends of Mineral Town remake is scheduled for release on Switch, but I don't know when.

Yes and no. Never played the 3DS one, so I am excited to play one after a long time. I'm just not sure if the setting change is going to be appealing long term or not. Also, the crafting part seems like it could end up nightmarish if certain materials are super grindy. Bells could be pretty bad, but you could at least farm them in a multitude of ways.

I would be happy for Europe getting it even vaguely close to the US but we will probably have to wait an extra 8ish months.

I never knew that! Thanks for the explanation I'll need to remember that when browsing that title and remember Story of Seasons is what I need to be looking for. I appreciate ya.

Oh MAAAAN New Leaf was awesome and a dramatic big leap in features from Wild World/City Folk. If New Horizons is anywhere near as inventive as New Leaf was, I think you're in for a treat.
