Gameboy Color version. I own a Switch, and the remake might be great (havent played it), but I dont see how the OG can be topped. The OG just has a certain charm to it that a remake wouldnt be able to beat.

the remake is fantastic and has an immense amount of heart put into it. its really cool to see all the familiar characters and enemies in 3d

I've done a quick google and not seen anything to suggest Capcom own any rights. Certainly the characters and designs below to Nintendo. I've asked on the Zelda reddit so hopefully they'll have more info. A LttP remake doesn't really excite me because I've pretty much played all the existing versions and ports. Not sure what a remake would bring to the table the existing versions don't. I'm open to be converted though. I'd love to see a remake of the original and oracle games first. I don't think the original has ever been remade. Been reminded that the oracle games were released on the 3DS as well and that general consensus is Nintendo own the rights.
