Based on the trailer, it looks like it will just be a bunch of hipster humor, while using old characters in the background to try and promote new ones.... in other words, Star Wars Episode 8, but with Terminator characters.

I think I will wait for Red Box. Only point of interest for me is seeing Edward Furlong return.

Yeah, and 4 wasn't bad.

Anyone ever notice how they've been talking about the 'war' since the first movie, yet we still haven't seen it?

I saw Tencent's name on it and was like "o guess the terminator franchise is dead to me"

I kinda want to see it, but then again, I'm one of the few people who wasn't impressed by T2.

I thought it was gonna be pretty good till I saw a trailer commercial on TV earlier today where Sarah is describing herself and goes "is that good enough of a resume?"

I cringed pretty hard and just muted the rest of the trailer.

over rated, what? how old are you, 16? The first two terminators were the shiznit in the 90's, especially T2. The 2nd movie is legendary.

The story was great too, good warning against trusting machines too much.

And yeah, T3 was where it started going downhill. I want to see the war between the humans and the machines already. John and Kyle need to kick some ass.

people will never be satisfied with a terminator movie past 2. it will either be too much like t2 o too different from t2 for them

the action and special effects were great, and still hold up, but that's about it.

Lol Furlong was the best one. Made him seem cocky and rebellious. Stahl was good, but a little too goody two shoes, Bale was okay, but whispered a lot, and then that guy in part 5... well let's just forget he exists.

Not true. I agree that they probably won't make a better one than Part 2 unless they somehow get Furlong and Biehn in the same film and make a bad ass movie about the war between the humans and machines, but it won't happen.

Not asking for it to be perfect, but they should at least take it seriously and not over flow it with a bunch of not funny jokes and lame villains. I'd be happy if they just brought back the T1000 or T800 as the main villain.

Lol I haven't paid money to see one in theatres since part 4. I Netflixed part 5 and am going to probably Red Box part 6.

tbh, I never really cared about any of the John Connors, but Furlong's was basically Bart Simpson.

I've never seen a terminator movie in cinemas, I've only watched 1 and 2 on public tv and in a film club in high school.

In fact, the last one I watched was 3 and dozed off halfway through it. Hearing the rest were even worse put me off the series entirely.
