PG&E mishandled this and fucked a lot of people and businesses for no good reason. If their employees were doing what they are paid to do they wouldn't have to do this. Yet they are paying the CEOs who mismanaged and bankrupt the company millions of dollars to say. Every county except SF was affected by this and it wasn't just rural areas. In Oakland people were shooting at PG&E trucks. We've had dryer, hotter and windier conditions earlier this year but they didn't cut power then. They only turned the power off because it was the anniversary of the Tubbs fire and they can motherfuck us so they did.
