Basically every corporation is afraid to speak out against china because they have lots of money and they are silencing people who do speak out against China. Like it is ok for people to openly bash trump and stuff but when it comes to China all bets are off you better not say anything bad about them.

This is dumb. If all American companies were to quit China now they would hurt a LOT more than we would.

China has money.
Companies want money.
Someone from a company smack talks China.
China gets angry.
Company begs China for forgiveness.

China has been quietly infiltrating international business at all levels for a long time now, and now people are just starting to realise what that means politically.

https://www.reddit.com/r/worldnews/comments/dfc6qi/disneyowned_espn_forbids_discussion_of_chinese/f32iio0/

For a ridiculous example of how this looks, Mercedes put an instagram post on their wall with a totally inoffensive quote by the Dalai Lama. However, that guy is considered a domestic terrorist against the chinese state because he recognises Tibet. And Mercedes is part chinese owned.

That post gets deleted almost immediately, and Mercedes issues the most embarrassingly over the top apology for "our actions" like they literally ran over Xi Jinping with a C class or something.
