Shield + Spell

Tends to be a lot more fun than dual-spell, since you don't have the ridiculous stagger ability that is dual-casted Destruction.

I've done a few playthroughs with a Nord who deals uses 1h and offensive magics. Usually call him Logen Ninefingers.
