Yep, this story's message was just, UGH.

This kid is in a high school in Beverly Hills and is apparently the only poor kid among all the rich. He needs money to feed his siblings so he pick pockets a snobby girl. Immediately afterwards he goes through a huge guilt inner monologue, since apparently he's religious and, even though God has shit on his entire life, Who Is He to steal from someone "he barely knew." He "has better morals than this." So he finds her in the hallway and confesses to stealing it and says he did it because he didn't have money to feed his family. She says she will give him money as long as he "helps his grades." He finds this a great result because "what's helping one more person going to hurt?"
