Considering most of those are in the last couple of years maybe they're finally finding their groove

Birds of Prey I wouldn't gamble on though.

It's not as good as the other two but I think it's comparable (or more favorable) to low points in other acclaimed movie trilogies tbh

Except for Toy Story. That was a perfect trilogy until 4 came along.

Yeah I watched The Dark Knight pretty recently and I thought it was really bad. Like not just oh, it's worse than I remembered. I mean actually shockingly bad.

The Joker only gets to do half of the things he does because the Batman and his crew are idiots, and the police are basically useless. But the movie doesn't really try to say the police are flat out useless. Corrupt at times? Incompetent? Maybe. But it doesn't pretend the cops are useless, even though they really are. They're mostly a waste of the movie's time. Commissioner Gordon also does one significant thing in the whole movie after posing and doing what the character itself is supposed to do in that universe. Not exactly a compelling character.

I've got to respectfully disagree with Aquaman.

I think Joker is better than them all, but it is what it is, but outside of visuals, Aquaman is straight up bad, IMO.

same with Man of Steel, but it's only strength is the fights.

I prefer Aquaman over Man of Steel. At least Aquaman had some levity.
