I never thought of that moment but it is interesting to think about now. I wonder how old I was or what my reaction was.

i mean i'm sure its something you hear as a baby so much that you just know....I've been around babies here and there where as soon as you say their name they quickly look up at you then back down to whatever they were doing. they know when they hear that "sound" that someone is talking to them.

My earliest memory of hearing my name was from my sister waking me up with this ear-piercing whisper going "Michael.... Michael... Michael... wake up we're leaving"

Even animals learn their name. When my wife wants me to look at something the cat is doing, without alerting him, she has to say it without saying "Diego", or "gato", or "Catula" (he likes to bite). --- There is no "would of", "should of" or "could of". no. I remember waking up in my hallway just before my 5th birthday to a vacuum cleaner (I might have been in bed, you know how memories are). I just woke up, and literally just "knew" a lot of things, not unlike if you took a brain implant that gave you knowledge. That never really bothered me though for some reason.
