Some houses are less than 30 degrees if measured and some are more but it was hamfisted all into 30 degree arcs because the whole fucking thing is made up anyway so it doesn't fucking matter. Additionally, figuring out your sun sign isn't as simple as going from date to date. The time (including year) and place of your birth all get plugged into a gigantic ridiculous fucking equation that doesn't make any God damn sense, but people who don't understand it and peddle 25 cent horoscopes to idiots at the gas station get the dates wrong because it doesn't really matter and they're trying to grift you for money. So tell your niece to calm down.
