People who have experience with this - either professionally or otherwise - what do you think about it? Pros? Cons? Other thoughts?

I've been a fan of it in the past, but until recently I'd never been asked to do it for longer than a period of a few hours. I've been pair programming basically nonstop for two weeks now and that's...another level. I want to hear your all's experiences.
