I have 6,458 Amex points right now after not using any for about a year. Apparently that equates to $45.20, according to Amazon: GeOfnYO

I typically buy books on Amazon. I'm going to use them on this book on John Singer Sargent:

I just use mine towards credits towards my credit card balance. They are worth more if used for that than for third party purchases like gift cards or trinkets.

My Chase Freedom Unlimited came with a $250 signup bonus at first, which I used to cover most of a flight to Vegas.

Since I got it a little over a year ago, I've still got like $550 worth of points that I haven't spent on anything. Dunno what I really want to do with it.

I have almost $200 on Amazon in credits (also spoilers you can use those same reward points for virtually anything else you could use points for with a standard rewards points card if you go through the Chase website).

In the past I used my points for home fixtures for a renovation project, and before that for a new phone for my wife for her birthday.

Hotels. We went to Atlantis in Bahamas a few months back. One time spent 5 nights at the Ritz-Carlton in Aruba, all on points. And we got upgraded to an oceanfront room. Thinking about Fiji next

I use all mine for travel

I got a $700+ sign up bonus with my Chase Sapphire (after using it a certain amount during the first 3 months) and I seem to average about $200 a year in points

Just paid for a complete hiking trip the other week using nothing but points

I've probably earned almost $1000 cash back this year. Usually use it on games or just to pay off my balance with nothing to purchase in mind.

Travel.

Just got back from my honeymoon in Italy and used some 138,000 Chase UR points to pay for 2 round trip tickets.

Cash back.

For some reason Chase let's you get less money for Amazon than if you just do cash back.

Which makes no sense to me why would you ever do that.

I literally bought The Surge with the scarce amount of points I had from my credit card because they were gonna expire or something.
I don't use credit enough.
