I don't know if Tim Pool is financially doing well or not, but assuming he is, could someone explain what is wrong with him wanting a wife who is not going to be preoccupied with her own career? He never said women shouldn't work, if that's what they want. The context, of course, is that his statement had to do with a working woman who is upset that not enough men are making as much money as her or have the stability that she wants in a relationship. But Pool is arguing that if a man is likewise doing well, then he probably would want a younger woman who wants to raise a family.

Referencing anything from Family Guy is terrible for the subject matter, I'll grant that.

I dont even understand his position. Sure he might have a """career""" being the internet's foremost centrist, but its not like he goes to an office downtown to work. I literally know women in real life who have openly admitted they would stay at home and chill if their husband made enough money to cover them both. These women make money, but they aren't interested in being the principal of the school they teach at or being the CEO of the business they help manage. I did not laugh at them or otherwise mock them when they said this. It's not sad, when progress has given people the freedom to make choices.
