Infection in my finger. Swelled up decently. It was sore and tender, but didn't hurt too much... until I had it lanced and drained at a clinic. That hurt a ton. Luckily, that, along with some antibiotics made it eventually get better. That finger looks a little funny at the cuticle because of the swelling though.

Top 5 worst pains from my life

1. Kidney Stone
2. Tearing the ligaments in my ankle
3. Tooth pain from needing an emergency root canal
4. Tooth pain from having an abscessed wisdom tooth
5. Ear infections when I was little (hard to rate compared to the others because I was about 3 or 4)

All of those are worse than any migraine I've had. The kidney stone was by far the worst though.

Probably when my kneecap was kicked over to the side of my leg (not when it actually happened, but every time I moved when trying to straighten my leg out afterward). It was close to an hour before I was able to successfully push it back into place. I refused going to the hospital because any movement hurt too much and I was afraid that I might make it worse. Once it was back in place, it was fine. Missed a day of work and was limping for a week but no other issues after that.

How did that happen?

My stepsister was horsing around trying to fake fight me and I made the mistake of locking my leg back to try and evade a kick. She hit just the kneecap and it went to the side of my leg. I wasn't expecting anything like that to be possible >_>

I got hit by a speeding truck and cracked my pelvis. Granted, I was knocked out so I don't remember the actual impact, but the pain in the weeks afterward was horrible, namely with the pelvis. I was generally banged up all over beyond that.

I think the worst of it was the rehab and walking for the first time after it happened.

But yeah, the overall pain over that whole incident was excruciating.

Either kidney infection or sinus headache. Kidney infection was bad but at least it only lasted a month. I've had persistent head pain from chronically infected sinuses for about 2 years now, I take tramadol daily so I can have some relief and even then the pain is still pretty shit. Waiting to have it operated on.

Kidney stone or getting braces tightened were both pretty brutal. At least the kidney stone was a few days of torment. The Braces was a bunch of pain over the course of 2 years. After having them tightened each time eating solid food was a nightmare for at least a week.

Edit: I also wanted to say breaking my arm was pretty painful but the fact I completely forgot about it when writing this because of the kidney stone and braces speaks for how painful those were.

diverticulitis pain. Not the major abdominal surgery it require or the jaw surgery I had or being hit by a bus or nailing my hand to the floor, or having my skin on my chin ripped open so hard I could see bone and muscle tissue. Just that disease when it got bad.

I had a tooth in the front bottom of my mouth where a filing apparently didn't take well, as after about ten years, i felt the worst pain in my life because of that tooth for four days straight. Got a root canal on the last day. The pain during recovery from that was nothing compared to how it felt before.

Gallstone attack. Dear lord it was intense, like my insides were being ripped out. Second to that was prior to me getting a root canal. I've always had problems with my back teeth and my back left molar got infected to the point of a root canal. Had to take strong pain killers and sensodyne repair toothpaste over last Christmas to get through it.

- Getting shot in the arm blocking my chest and face after a failed mugging during my Sophomore year.

When I went down and off of a big water slide and had my legs out wide so my balls hit the water. I had to spend a good few minutes to get back on my feet and even then it was delicate for awhile. Worst part is my dad and brother acted like it was common sense not to do that when shit like that is the last thing Ive ever worried about when going down a water slide.

Yeah, I've been through some shit.

All of those wounds healed completely though. I still freak people out with my stab/shot scars though. :D

For the scalding one, I remember having to sleep on my stomach for two weeks, and when my then ex-inlaws dropped by to visit us they brought this little Pomeranian doggy and jumped nails first on the burned part of my back removing three big random scab CHUNKS at once. They were all downstairs when it happened and apparantly she got loose from her collar lock.

<_< It was one short ass visit to say the least.
