whenever i see him i try to ignore him because the mother fucker smells so god damn bad. his BO is horrendous. i dont know if this dude dont shower or do laundry or both cuz he smells like he's fucking homeless 24/7.

and he refuses to wear deodorant from what i hear. shit, somedays i forget to put on deodorant but i dont stink THAT bad. holy shit.

next time i see him, if i said "stand back dog you stink like a mother fucker the fuck is wrong with you" would i be an asshole?

I know I'd appreciate it and be grateful if someone just told me instead of talking about it behind my back. That's way I'd be aware and go out of my way to try to fix it.

Tell him politely. I know its aggravating but some people genuinely arent aware of their smell. Also, for all you know hes got a medical issue or hes secretly living out of his car / in poverty or something. He might even be an abuse victim and not allowed to clean himself properly due to crazy parents / gf / bf. Obviously no one wants to stink so theres usually something going on in their life beyond just not using deodorant. Best to approach the issue with empathy, at least at first.

nah hes my fiance's sister's boyfriend. they live together in her parents house.

Sounds like this guy is practically a stranger then. It would be one thing if he was a co-worker. In this case maybe just mention it to his gf. Either way it doesn't sound like you have to be around him too much. Can he be avoided?
