Black women get more lenient sentencing for the same crimes than white or Hispanic women. So you should reconsider your stance from being about "the mass incarceration of non-whites" because it's a lot more complicated than that.

Those people from the 60s definitely had a hard time but I would say that anyone born in our generation had the same opportunities available regardless of race. Unless you live in Alabama or something.

This is the funny thing here. Most of the people who agree with Bill, are the same people who suggest racism is over, and black people and others need to shut up. Yet they complain about what they see as wrong.

I'm half black and even living in where I live still encounter racism in my life.

That said I dont need some white liberal to apologize to me about shit they didnt do.

I just want people to acknowledge when racism actually happens. I remember posting on this board about how some one I considered a friend says he throws away applications with names like Dante and Jamal without even looking at them (almost named my son Dante.) And how a girl had to stop dating me cuz her mom said she couldnt date black men. And someone hit me with a "this happened."

I agree with you. However not many people are asking white people to say sorry for things that they didn't do. Like white guilt. I don't give a damn is someone feels guilty about something, just don't defend racist shit .

I also had the thing happen with a girl I was about take to the prom. :( .
