Also, I gotta be honest.

This isn't taking off like I thought it would, and I have to say my interest in hosting it is pretty dang low right now. It's taking time away from other projects I'd rather be working on, with little to no payout. It's the same small handful of people, most of whom nominated characters themselves, voting each day - though today was slow in part since the topic wasn't bumped (I had to work) - and it's been that way all week.

Sigh...

Do you think taking a break might help, or looking for a co-host maybe? I feel like the participation on this isn't too bad, but you shouldn't force yourself to keep hosting this if you aren't feeling it.

I really don't care if this continues or doesn't, though. I was hoping a few more outside people would be interested by now, but I'm bored out of my mind and would rather work on the project Rayleigh is from so you all can regret not voting for her.

Yes, that she wasn't getting votes is disheartening for me after all the effort I put in, but thinking about that made me realize where my heart truly was and that's in that project, not this one. If that makes sense.

EDIT: To rephrase, it's not that I'm complaining that she's not getting votes so much as reevaluating my priorities because of it. The cause doesn't matter here, the result does. That's really all there is to it.

I'm not even noticing the topics. I saw literally only the one with my character in it, and that was only by chance. Having run VGMC, I can tell you that a lot of people are only going to notice match topics or continue to follow the contest actively if you have a central topic that organizes things.
