The PS4 remake was on sale recently, and I'm hooked already. I played Dragon's Crown before, but this might rival it.

I remember getting frustrated as shit with the original because of slowdown. Is that fixed in the ps4 version?

The remake is 100 times better, you can customize your own special inputs and there is no slow down. And if for some reason you don't like the new version, you can play the original game with no slowdown. That's the game where you can have a chef cook a lot, right? I enjoyed it overall, but it seemed easy to break the gameplay by just loading up on tons of various potions and food.
Dragon's Crown had better pacing. I remember the PS4 version of Odin Sphere forcing you to backtrack quite a bit, although it was cool to play as all the main characters. --- ... ... Copied to Clipboard!

Odin Sphere is by far the best game Vanillaware made.
