Dude raised $2+ million for charity and some asshole reporter digs up some tweets from a decade ago when the guy was 16 and runs with that instead? Then it turns out the reporter had even more racist tweets on his own account, and got fired from the newspaper that started this in the first place.
Like a freaking Ouroboros of public shaming. Why can't we as a society stop this endless cycle? Why would you even do that to a guy who is literally only in the news for doing a good deed? He's not a freaking public figure, politician, celebrity, etc. Just some guy donating to charity, and apparently that good deed can't go unpunished. --- Well allons-y, Alonso! ...
