Goombas, Pirahna plants, Wart, Kirby, the Picture of Peach, the frog dude (Richard was his name I believe?), Bow Wow all were in the original GB and GBC versions. <cite>MagnusDJL posted [p:928004287] in Were there... I dont know exactly why (other than just goofing off) but apparently in an interview it was stated that, at the time, they felt like they were making a parody of Zelda lol. Most of them that arent Chain Chomp only show up in the 2D segments, so it could have just been easier to use pre-existing enemies.
