The Switch board said I need to "check in" once a week. How does that work?

I asked this question a couple of weeks ago and I think your Switch just needs to connect to the internet at least every 7 days?

As long as you've logged in once in a 7 day period you'll have access to the games offline.

You just need to open it with an active internet connection, once a week.

When you first open the app you do need to be connected to the internet.

After that it should just be a case of having the switch connect to the internet within the last 7 days. Sleep mode should count.

You shouldn't need to do that.

If you leave your Switch on sleep mode it should download updates and stuff when it connects to wifi automatically. There might be a setting in the options somewhere. That should be all you need.

Yeah, but the first time you run the SNES emulator you need to be connected to the internet.

occasionally when you go in i notice it hangs on the start and says something like "Checking to see if the content is playable". I assume you just need to pop into the game from the main screen while connected to wifi once a week if this threads other info is any indication
