After dropping about $120 on a new battery I go to get it checked. I informed the Valvoline guys that I had a dead battery earlier in the day and we all agreed to give it a check anyway. Sure enough all my codes got erased. They didn't charge me (because I think it's law) and told me to put about 50 miles on it driving in random conditions.
