Honestly my belief is that what goes around comes around, and that kids can have a decent upbringing yet still turn out bad, or have a bad upbringing yet turn out to be amazing.

Also knowledge is power. The first kid usually has it worse because parents learn on them. Second has it easier, at least that is what I witness in my own family.

It used to crack me up when two parents (of different kids) would get into a pissing contest over whose kid was the worst, and then I would turn to Mrs. DevsBro and say "man, I'm glad we don't have any" and watch them do a total 180 in an instant.

Of course, we can't do that anymore, lol.
