legendary_zell 09/26/19 12:01:40 PM #1:	I was watching the Ken Burns documentary on Vietnam and they dropped that bomb on me. Apparently LBJ caught Nixon reaching out to the South Vietnamese government to tell them to avoid peace talks so the American people would be frustrated with the Democrats and turn to him to win the war. This may have led to the death of tens of thousands of Americans and hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese, Cambodian, and Laotian people! Why isn't this the first thing that's mentioned about him? That's the height of evil and cynicism, literally prolonging war and suffering for political gain. It also shows that what's happening with Trump isn't the first time a President has attempted to sabotage rivals and undermine American and global security for personal electoral gain.
