Board 8 > Recommend me a fun single player FPS on the PC.

I already have multiplayer FPS covered with OW, so I want a nice, fun single player FPS.

I'm currently thinking of these titles, but I'm open to other titles:

Blood Fresh Supply(saw a YTer talk about and it seemed interesting)
Duke Nukem 3D or Forever(I know Forever is considered shitty, but I played it at a friend's house for a bit when it first came out and it seemed ok, and I love all the sexy humor in there. I also never owned a Duke game before)
DOOM(I owned it for the Xbone back when I used to have an Xbone, but never beat it)
Metro trilogy(I owned the first one either on the PC or the Xbone back in the day and was loving it but never got to finish it)

I'm planning in getting the Doom Trilogy on the Switch once they fix the problems, since I want that on the go, so don't recomend that.

DOOM. Best single player fps in a long time.

Runner up goes to the two newest Wolfenstein games (haven't played the new coop spin off though). You can also check out the Far Cry series but I'm not as into it as others.

Also I know you said PC, but if you can get your hands on a PS4, Titanfall 2 campaign is fantastic

I came in to recommend Duke 3D and Doom (original) so good to see they're on the list, but I'll also recommend Half-Life.

I've never been an FPS fan which is probably why my 3 recos are from the 90s, but I remember blind-buying Half-Life and really enjoying it! Though I'm sure there's been better FPS games in the past 20 years...

Another rec for DOOM

If you have interest in the Metro Trilogy i really enjoyed in. Great atmosphere and an interesting story for sure it's good stuff!

half life (both 1 & 2) were lessons in frustration

i feel like i spent the majority of my time just being stuck and not knowing where i was supposed to go next

maybe i was just bad, but i never had that sort of problem with either of the portals, halo, etc
