I rarely to never even know what the lyrics actually are. i do think words help shape the song. different words would result in a different feel, even if the melody is the same. but i don't always care about the actual meaning behind the words. if the lyrics are great, great. if the lyrics are bad, they'd have to be reeaaaaally bad to ruin the song if the rest of it is good. --- ... Music is fucking magical. Nothing quite impacts me the same way as music. I have a song library that's pushing 18,000 songs from 1,300 albums from 840 artists at the moment and I love all of it, even though there is a lot that I've only listened to once or twice, I'm still thankful just for the chance to experience so much wonderful music.
