One hundred years. Only three QBs to choose from. Because, y'know, it has to be one of these three.

Brett had the best results so far, but that's from having a better team around him. Aaron's been the better quarterback for the past ten years.

(I'm sure Bart was also great but we weren't alive so hard to say.)

Rodgers the most dynamic and talented.

If he had the teams Favre had, we're looking at 3 rings minimum.

tbh I think this is a huge part of why Rodgers has only been to one Super Bowl. Ted Thompson's shitty drafting on defense and unwillingness to make trades or sign "the missing piece" made games too competitive, which caused us to lose some games. The other part is that, concurrently with his growing ego, he had a steadily deteriorating relationship with McCarthy, which destroyed the team last year.

If you review the tape, though, Rodgers' ability to execute things like free plays when a lineman is offsides or guy #12 is running off the field - and that weird snafu against the Vikings last week when he accidentally went for it on 4th-and-1 since the ball was initially mis-spotted - is something else. His TD-to-INT ratio is not human, either. The guy's football IQ and skillset combine for something astronomical. So I'd probably say he is indeed #1, even if his 2 MVPs and 1 Super Bowl ring + MVP don't compare to Starr. JC is right - there's not a wrong answer here, it just depends on your criteria.

That said, all three of these men are pantheon QBs - and the Packers have the most of those of any team (Colts have 2 [Johnny U and Peyton], 49ers have 2 [Montana and Young], and IDK how many other teams have multiples... with names like Bradshaw, Marino, Elway, Blanda, Aikman, etc. I don't know if I can think of any)

Thats an interesting exercise

If you rank all the QBs of all time, how far down do you have to go before another team has 3

I'd argue the Cowboys have 2 with Aikman and Staubach. You could give the Broncos credit for Peyton, too, if you wanted to cheat.

I think the answer to my question is the 49ers. You have Montana in anyones top 3 at worst, Steve Young hanging out in that 10-20 range, and then Y.A. Tittle not lagging too far behind

Yeah, I don't know if there's really a good advanced metric to measure QBs all time.

If you just measure wins (not a great metric, of course, but it's the one a lot of people use, and it would balance out more than yards and TDs since we live in a more pass-happy era), here are the three best QBs for each franchise:

Bills
1. Jim Kelly
2. Joe Ferguson
3. Jack Kemp

(For fun, Drew Bledsoe and Tyrod Taylor are 4th and 5th LOL)

Patriots

1. Tom Brady
2. Steve Grogan
3. Drew Bledsoe

Dolphins

1. Dan Marino
2. Bob Griese
3. Ryan Tannehill

Jets

1. Joe Namath
2. Ken O'Brien
3. Richard Todd

(Sanchez is 5th lawl)

Ravens

1. Joe Flacco
2. Kyle Boller

1. Otto Graham
2. Brian Sipe
3. Bernie Kosar

1. Ben Roethlisberger
2. Terry Bradshaw
3. Kordell Stewart

Colts

1. Peyton Manning
2. Johnny Unitas
3. Andrew Luck

Texans

1. Matt Schaub
2. David Carr
3. Deshaun Watson

Jaguars

1. Mark Brunell
2. David Garrard
3. Byron Leftwich

Titans/Oilers

1. Steve McNair
2. Warren Moon
3. Dan Pastorini

Chiefs

1. Len Dawson
2. Alex Smith
3. Trent Green

Raiders

1. Ken Stabler
2. Daryle Lamonica
3. Rich Gannon

Chargers

1. Philip Rivers
2. Dan Fouts
3. John Hadl

Broncos

1. John Elway
2. Peyton Manning
3. Craig Morton

2. Phil Simms
3. Charlie Conerly

Eagles

1. Donovan McNabb
2. Ron Jaworski
3. Randall Cunningham

Redskins

1. Joe Theismann
2. Sonny Jurgenson
3. Billy Kilmer

Lions

1. Matthew Stafford
2. Bobby Layne
3. Greg Landry

Packers

1. Brett Favre
2. Aaron Rodgers
3. Bart Starr

Bears

1. Jay Cutler
2. Jim McMahon
3. Ed Brown

His amazing 2009 numbers are of a 40 year old man.
Prime Favre would have been unstoppable.

I cant say I disagree but I've used this argument in other situations and people hate this hypothetical.

If peyton manning spent his entire career in New England in place of Brady he'd have won so many Superbowls they would have had to make him toe rings
