I just killed Salazar! I died a few times but on the fourth or fifth try I killed him pretty efficiently so I am still bursting at the seams with ammo and healing items

I think I played through the game like four times before ever learning how that boss actually works because I always just used the free rocket launcher on him.

Doesn't the rocket launcher disintegrate after one shot or is it that powerful?

It only has one use, Salazar just dies that easily. Though I should probably note that I did enough to get him to show me his naked body at which point I blew my load on him.
