If there are any Veronica Mars fans here left, season 4 doesn't seem half bad. I thought the movie was okay, didn't hate it like most seemed to, and as far as shows returning after decades long hiatus, it's not too shabby.

I don't know why she didn't end up in the FBI and is still just some PI working from paycheck to paycheck, odd job to odd job.

I watched it a few weeks back. It's as good as the original run imo. So if you liked that, this is kind of more of the same but with a time skip and weird sex scenes.

Oh man, I don't think I've heard of this! Or maybe I don't remember, it's been a long time since I saw anything Veronica Mars related. Definitely want to see this now though before continuing with the season lol.

In my opinion season 4 is much better than season 3. The really benefited from being the center stage the entire season. The downside of that is that we basically didn't get any "case of the week" type episodes and that is sad, but it was still a net positive.

The ending is super divisive though.

You could but it's not necessary, I only like season 1 the most anyway. People disliked season 3 but I honestly thought season 2 was the one with the most holes. Season 1 is the best story and the tightest with the most mindblowing twist that left me absolutely reeling when the case was solved.

But season 2 was ridiculous with what it does to season 1 and just how the season plays out (by the end of the season some kid was able to sneak a bomb on a plane? In a post 9/11 world? What even is this ridiculousness? And not in a good way) plus some more individual gripes I had. Season 3 was just eh, and so was the movie.

But that first season, that was just insane. I still can't get over that reveal and how shocked I was the first time I saw it.
