I don't know. I think his Joker could have had a Harley. but I don't know that Margot's version would work with his Joker. she's too lighthearted and hero leaning. I think in a universe where he never died and they made a bunch of movies with him as Joker and they added in Harley, I think that Harley would be much darker in tone than what Margot does

Maybe. I think the "opposites attract" element within the different styles of their characters in their respective movies could work. She doesn't necessarily have to be as dark as him. Especially with Jokers more comedic history, she could have brought a bit of slapstick to his version.

If your going to go with opposites attract then I would argue they could have done the Flashpoint version. While in Flashpoint Joker was Martha Wayne, Bruces mother, she was sadistic as all hell, while Harley Quinn turned into Yo Yo, almost the opposite of Joker.

That kind of pairing could have worked. Where Harley doesn't work directly with Joker but works for the Joker.

Duh. She's got that same grunge look going on.
